Dalkia has been active in Slovakia since 1992.
The company's core business is the operation of heat generating plants and heat supply installations, and comprehensive building management.
The company currently employs more than 800 people and supplies heat for the residents of Bratislava, Senec, Vráble, Brezno, Poprad, Lučenec, Kráľovský Chlmec, Žiar nad Hronom, and Košice.
In 2005, Dalkia became the founder and main shareholder of SLOVEO, which provides services to the Peugeot Citroën automotive plant in Trnava.
Dalkia is the energy division of the Veolia Environnement group, which is a world leader in the provision of services in various fields related to everyday life (in addition to heat, these include water, public transport, and wastes). Another important Dalkia shareholder is Eléctricité de France. Dalkia International is present in 42 countries around the world and employs more than 53 400 people.
Since being founded in Slovakia, Dalkia has dynamically expanded its range of clients, whom it provides with services in the modernization and operation of heat supply installations in the residential and municipal, tertiary and industrial sectors.
